Designer: Willard Byrd
One of the first eight courses built on the Grand Strand, Litchfield Country Club has withstood the test of time and still stands as one of the most requested courses in the area. Unlike other courses in today's modern time, Litchfield refused to tweak the initial design, making it one of the most original courses in the area as well. The original signature features, including player friendly greenside pathways, still stand and await your visit!
Litchfield was named one of the "World's 50 Best" Course by Conde Nast Traveler. This country club will have you in awe from the moment you step onto the course. The giant oaks, shimmering lakes, and tree-lined fairways highlight the former Carolina rice plantation grounds. Designed by Willard Byrd, Litchfield Country Club has a 72.6 rating, a slope of 130, and measures just short of 7,000 yards.
