Designer: Arnold Palmer
Arnold Palmer has done it again. He's created yet another masterpiece in the golfing industry at the West course of Myrtle Beach National. Easily one of the most difficult courses on the Grand Strand, golfers will find that they will enjoy a classic Arnold Palmer design from beginning to end. Palmer deviously throws many obstacles in your way, however, in the form of doglegs, fairway bunkers, and natural hazards. Unlike many of the courses on the Grand Strand, the West course makes you feel as though you're playing at a private club.
The West course is one of the only courses in the area to finish with a par-3; one of the never-ending tricks in Palmer's bag. With a course rating of 73.0 and a slope of 119, Arnold Palmer pulls out all the stops and results in a fantastically designed golfing masterpiece.
