Architect Greg Norman has left a lasting impression on the Grand Strand, one that will be extremely hard for other golf architects to top. The Norman Course at Barefoot Resort stands alone as one of the most beautiful courses in Myrtle Beach. Framed by the natural vegetation, this is an intriguing challenge for every golfer. The Norman course is a par-72 and is known as the most difficult of the four giants of Barefoot Resort.
Norman incorporated many unique features that can only be found at the Norman Course at Barefoot Resort. White-faced McKenzie style bunkers and sod-wall bunkers are just a few of these features. You'll find gently sloped greens which are composed of many different types of turf grasses. Make sure to get your game on point, especially for hole 9, easily one of the most difficult holes on the beach.
