Myrtle Beach Dining

Not all Myrtle Beach visitors come to submerge their toes in the sand. Not all come to play a round of golf. Not all come to shop or attend the attractions. At one point, however, every single visitor takes part in one common activity: eating. And Myrtle Beach is the place to eat out, with a wide variety and multitude of restaurants waiting to tantalize your taste buds and feed your hunger. The Grand Strand is a treasure chest of fine dining and has something to offer every appetite.

Many come to the beach to enjoy the famous local seafood. They want to taste the succulent shrimp, sweet blue crab, and briny oysters. The Grand Strand is home to many chain and local seafood restaurants. Murrells Inlet, the seafood capital of South Carolina, houses some of the most famous seafood restaurants in the area. Some renown seafood restaurants in the Murrells Inlet area include: Captain Dave's Dockside Restaurant, Creek Ratz, Divine Fish House, Flo's Place, Drunken Jacks, and Inlet Crab House. After visiting the seafood capital, make sure you try some of the other seafood restaurants on the strand which include but aren't limited to: Bimini's Oyster Bar & Seafood Café, Bone Fish Grill, and Noizy Oyster.

If you're looking for a more specific taste, try some of the favorite restaurants in the area. Angelo's Steak and Pasta promises authentic Italian cuisine. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is always a favorite with live entertainment, a classic tropical setting, and relaxing atmosphere. Dick's Last Resort features an unforgettable and unique theme where the wait staff is trained to insult the guests, make custom hats for each diner, and strives to keep you laughing throughout dinner. Hamburger Joe's boasts the best hamburger on the beach while the world class Greg Normans Australian Grille's menu is influenced by Australian cuisine.

Don't punish yourself with sandwiches for the entirety of your vacation. Go out and enjoy the fine dining in the Myrtle Beach area. Sit under an umbrella on a patio or dine with a waterfront view, it doesn't matter. Just make sure that you spoil your taste buds while you're here!

Local Restaurants Include:

  • Bovines
  • Damon's Grill
  • Hard Rock Cafe
